OpenAI is enhancing its ChatGPT Enterprise offering with new administrative and compliance tools designed to help businesses manage their AI-related processes more effectively. Among the early adopters of ChatGPT Enterprise are notable organizations like Boston Consulting Group and Moderna. The new tools aim to improve data security, compliance, and user access management, making it easier for enterprises to integrate AI into their workflows.
Starting next week, OpenAI will roll out SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) support in beta. This feature will allow enterprise admins to sync their internal employee directories with their ChatGPT Enterprise workspaces, facilitating easier provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts. This integration supports various company directories including Okta Workforce, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, and Ping. This synchronization ensures that user information remains accurate and up-to-date across all systems.
Additionally, new settings enable more granular control over GPTs (custom versions of ChatGPT) within the enterprise workspaces. These settings allow admins not only to manage user groups and permissions but also to control external GPT interactions and configurations. This ensures that enterprises can securely and efficiently leverage the powerful capabilities of GPTs while maintaining strict compliance and data security standards.
