Altman, a co-founder of OpenAI, started alongside Elon Musk, who left the company in 2018. Microsoft, an investor of OpenAI, continues its long-term partnership with the AI company. The remaining board members are chief scientist Ilya Sutskever, Adam D’Angelo, Tasha McCauley, and Helen Toner.
